Depression has a way of sneaking up on you, especially when you ignore it. Unfortunately, it’s not something that will go away by pretending you don’t notice.
I’ve been feeling quite blue lately. The spiral started a few months back, and having been through depression years ago, I wasn’t hoping to struggle with it again.
Avoidance never seems to work out. Let’s not be afraid to face our emotions and what they may mean, and let’s remember to ask for help when we need it.
This is when friends, family, and doctors come in.
Let’s get the help we need from others and ourselves, move forward, and always remember the positive when we’re feeling blue.
