Foggy Ridge

Another shot of a favorite ridge.

This mountainside near Queen’s Canyon is often called Scar Mountain, as it’s an abandoned quarry.  It used to sport a hiking trail, though it’s now closed due to the wildfire a few years ago.  Still a beautiful sight, it warrants a hike, at least to the area and along the remaining nearby trails.

I’m curious if you can still spot bighorn sheep dotting the hillside…

Buildings get torn down, property changes hands, and sometimes wildfires run rampant.  Let’s explore while we can, as we never know what may happen to our favorite places.
