Second hand shops are fantastic places. Whether you’re checking out Goodwill, Arc, Salvation Army, Plato’s Closet, or other venues for used items, there’s surely plenty of gorgeous finds waiting to be discovered!
This beautifully loud emerald dress immediately caught my eye as it stood on a thrift shop mannequin. Costumes have been on the wish-list since coming across Brooke Shaden’s fantastical photography, and for under $10, it had to come back to the studio!
Loud sequins on the front were cut off to fit the look of future uses, and the back slit where it laces up had to be extended to the waist to fit. Minor alterations are sometimes needed when buying used, but considering the uniqueness and bargain of what you can find, it’s definitely worth it!
Let’s shop used more often, keep our eyes open, and enjoy the fabulous treasures we can find on our hunts!
Much Peace and Keep Roamin’
