A Season Ago

Whenever I think back, even if it’s just a month, things are always so different.

No, I still have the same job, same home, same surroundings, but I’m always into something else.  It’s almost like my career/life track changes monthly.  One month, I’ll be a fashion photographer.  The next, a sculptor, a translator, a contortionist, a travel blogger.  Oh, the list could go on forever.

Fall is when I went through my last routine of this nature.  Since then, I’ve decided to stop trying to find my new passion, life track, purpose, career, whatever you yourself call it.  I’ve always lived my life to be an illustrator, and when my passion hit its limit and faded, I started frantically looking for a replacement.  A new passion, something to live my life for and knew in my bones was meant for me.

But, disappointment after disappointment, I learned that you can’t decide to make something a passion.  You’ll know it when you feel it in your heart.  And even with a new passion, it too may fade and take a new form again.

Life is always changing and is meant to be explored.  If I have a new purpose waiting for me out there, I’ll find it in due time.

In the meantime, I have a lot of roaming to do, so I’ll just enjoy the journey.

Much Peace and Keep Roamin’
