Spring in the Rockies

Landscape and weather photography of a snow storm over Pikes Peak

So it’s Spring here in Colorado!  Although sprinkled with beautiful warm days, half the year is still a long time to have cold conditions when you’re a lover of warm weather!  At least we’re able to enjoy a great amount of sun year round.

Cold weather has made getting outside much harder.  Though, since spending more time in nature is a major goal, it’s definitely time to find more weather-appropriate clothes.

If we find ourselves avoiding the outdoors during Winter (and Spring), let’s get ourselves to the thrift shop to find some proper boots, coats, hats, and gloves, so we can bundle up and stay warm during this beautiful season.

Winter Cold

Despite it officially being Spring, at least according to my calendar, there’s still a bit of lingering snow and a cold nip in the air.

Warmer weather is welcome, as I look forward to exploring both my town and others nearby, as well as getting into biking.

Let’s power through the last of this winter cold, and stay warm in the knowledge that Spring weather will soon be here!  Let’s also keep our bicycles and cameras at the ready!
