Start Now | Into the Storm

Life it too short to wait for things to be ‘perfect’ before starting something.

Let’s not wait for a steady job that’ll give us vacation time to take a vacation.  Let’s use that one day off this week to go somewhere, whether just in town or some hours’ drive away.

Let’s not wait to have the highest quality supplies to start creating, but start working with what we have now.

Let’s not wait for certain circumstances to start living the life we want.  The life we dream of isn’t going to just happen, it’s something we have to work toward little by little, day by day.

So let’s stop waiting for the life we want, and start building it right now.

What do you want to do?  What do you dream of?  What small step can you make today to start living it?

Whatever it is, let’s start moving forward and making it happen!

Moving Forward

Moving Forward

When just going through the motions, we’re bound to make progress, but things can progress so much faster when backed by the force of passion and enthusiasm.

Let’s find the time to foster our passions, and spend less time with what completely sucks not only our time but our energy.

Let’s keep pushing forward with passion in our hearts and progress on the horizon.

Raindrops

And so we’ve come to the end of another month, and soon, another year.  It’s important to remember that the small moments of every day are what make up our lives.

Each moment spent loving, creating, sharing, and working towards a goal will blend with another to create the greater sum of our life.

Let’s dedicate more moments to love, craft, gratitude, progress, and improvement.  Let’s keep moving forward, one small step at a time.

Remain Positive

Dogwood Flower- Stay Positive

Bad things happen, but that doesn’t mean we have to succumb to negative thinking.  Even when things go wrong, let’s keep our heads up and remain positive.  Let’s turn obstacles and mistakes into learning opportunities, and see them in a better light.

Whether we’ve recently stumbled or outright failed, we’re still moving forward.  Let’s stay positive.

Old Habits

Snow on Ladder

Sometimes it seems as soon as we make some forward progress, we fall back into our old habits.

We eat well for a week, then binge on unhealthy food for two.  We go weeks without watching tv, then spend days in front of the screen.

Let’s not give up when we fall.  Let’s acknowledge setbacks with kindness as they come, and continue to move forward and better ourselves.

Move Forward

Challenges

Life is full of challenges.  That’s how we grow and learn to move forward.

Getting upset isn’t going to make bills any smaller.  Drowning in anxiety isn’t going to change our situation.

Let’s remember that every challenge can be overcome, and there’s nothing we can’t grow to handle.  So when challenges arise, let’s not entertain fear, but move forward and accept the challenge.

Sense of Progress

Sometimes it feels like we’re going nowhere, leaving us frustrated.

We may feel powerless, stuck.  Sometimes we have no idea what direction to head towards, and that’s even more frustrating.

I’ve been feeling quite stuck lately, which has shown me how important it can be to stick with something throughout the chaos.  That way, even when actively pursuing different paths, we have one thing that we’re consistent with.  We get our sense of progress.  We feel less like we’ve wasted weeks or months.

Plus, when we feel stuck, time can pass agonizingly slow.  Having an interest we continually work on and update (like a blog) can help us keep our sense of time.  We find that what felt like weeks was just a few days.

Let’s always move forward, stay positive, and remember that life’s meant to be explored, whether we know where we’re going or not.

Much Peace and Keep Roamin’
