Riverside

It often pays to step off the beaten path, if only to see the familiar in a new way.  There’s also a great chance of encountering something you didn’t even know was there.

The world opens up and becomes so much bigger when we take the time to really explore.

Let’s get out and enjoy the views of a path less trodden.

Tranquil

Tranquility can seem immensely difficult to find and enjoy, but we should remember it’s actually quite simple.

Step outside. Get some fresh air. Enjoy a cup of tea. Watch the clouds.

If only for a moment.

But let’s remember to be present and really enjoy it.  Let’s engage all our senses, center ourselves, and feel gratitude for the moment.

No matter how busy life seems to get, let’s take a deep breath, soak up the present, and make tranquil moments for ourselves to recharge.

As we push forward and work towards our goals, it’s good to keep in mind what speaks to us most.  What we enjoy doing, and what we find unnecessary.

Sometime soon, Roman Leaf will be moved back exclusively to WordPress, as having the blog and website together in the same place will cut down on time spent keeping things up to date.  The more time freed up, the more time there will be left to play, practice, experiment, and hopefully improve.

Take a look at your own goals and what you’re currently doing to meet them.  Are the steps you’re taking ones that make a difference and that you enjoy?  Do some activities seem unnecessarily repetitive?  Are there ways you could make following your goal more time-efficient?

Let’s keep ourselves focused on our goals and where we’re headed, but remain open enough to see when things aren’t working and could be improved.
